The predicted salary is between 27 - 30 £ per hour.

Location: Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster, Lancashire.

Salary: £13.45 per hour with overtime paid at £14.95 per hour.

Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 8am - 8pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota.

About the Role

Evermore Care is seeking compassionate Day Care Assistants to join the team at Ashton Manor, our state-of-the-art care home in Lancaster. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
  • Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
  • Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
