Location: Astley View Care Home, Chorley, Lancashire
Hourly Pay: £13.45 with overtime paid at £14.95 per hour
Hours: Full Time 8am - 5pm, Days Only (29.75 hours per week). Working on a 2-week rolling rota.
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

We are looking for a dedicated housekeeper who wants to ensure that the health and safety of the staff and residents are at the forefront of every decision made. We are looking for someone who has an exceptional eye for detail and a high standard when it comes to keeping the service clean as well as adhering to guidelines and schedules. We are looking for a practical person, who can think on their feet and respond quickly, keeping the residents' rooms, communal areas including the office, dining rooms and hallways clean, tidy and in a good condition!

Experience:
- Knowledge and experience of working within a care home
- Understanding of supervisions and creating rotas, as well as a knowledge of managing and running a team
- Experience in ordering stock as well carrying out monthly stock checks
Main Responsibilities
- To ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard in compliance with specific cleaning guidelines and schedules and that they effectively meet the service needs
- To check all areas of the service are supplied with adequate housekeeping items and inform the Head Housekeeper of any shortages
- To identify and report damages, faults, and other related issues to the Head Housekeeper and maintenance department
