Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster, Lancashire
Salary:
£13.45 per hour with overtime paid at £14.95 per hour
Hours:
6pm - 10pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
About the Role:
Evermore Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join the team at Ashton Manor, our state-of-the-art care home in Lancaster, working on a Twilight shift pattern of 6pm to 10pm, on a 2-week rolling rota. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

Main Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
- Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings.
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
- Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
