Pay: £14.00 - £14.50 per hour / £29,120 - £30,160 per annum
Shift Pattern: 7am - 6pm, working 4 days per week on a two-week rolling rota with every other weekend off

You may prepare comforting classics or refresh seasonal menus, with a focus on attention to detail and care.

As Our Cook, You Will
- Prepare and present balanced, nutritious meals tailored to individual needs and preferences
- Support the Head Chef in maintaining kitchen standards, stock levels, cleanliness, and food safety compliance
- Co-produce menus with residents to ensure variety and quality
- Order and check deliveries, manage storage, and minimise food waste
- Maintain cleaning schedules and adhere to health, safety, and infection control regulations
- Contribute to a positive, person-centred dining experience
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ total kitchen experience, ideally 2-3 years in fresh or traditional British cuisine
- Ability to run the kitchen independently on the Head Chef’s days off
- Ability to prepare balanced, nutritious meals tailored to resident needs
- Strong understanding of kitchen management, stock control, and food safety
- Willingness to participate in menu co-production with residents
- Dessert and baking experience is desirable but not essential
