For the further strategic development of our Marine and Power field service department, we are looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer at Everllence, MAN Energy Solutions. As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you are part of a dedicated Field Service team and contribute directly to the company\โ€™s success. In this position, you will be part of a dynamic Field Service department that supports the Everllence product portfolio for marine and power installations for customers in the UK, Europe and globally, and will be expected to either work within a team or to lead field service projects.

We can offer you the following tasks

  • Able to carry out extensive mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair operations of 4 and 2 stroke engines and associated systems.
  • Implementation of field maintenance procedures according to Everllence standards.
  • To be able to carry out performance tests, troubleshooting & root cause analysis.
  • To be able to work with engine automation & mechanical system, providing support to Customers within guidelines as stipulated by Everllence.
  • On site Customer operational support in all stages of a project.
  • Ensure the implementation of HSE standards in maintenance activities.
  • Identifying the spare parts requirements for maintenance and repair activities.

You Can Help Us With These Qualifications

  • Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering diploma/degree with at least 5 years work experience or apprenticeship time served mechanical or mechatronic Engineer with long time work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience of in depth overhaul, service and repair of high or medium speed engines, preferably in the marine industry or power plant industries.
  • Understanding of the business on both technical and commercial levels.
  • IT Proficient with experience of Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English and able to write Technical Reports, other languages are considered as a plus.
  • Results driven, ability to develop and retain key business, consultant and customer relationships.
  • Ability to liaise and communicate at all levels in the business as well as culturally aware and able to work in foreign locations with minimal local support.
  • Assertive, self-motivated with the ability to work independently, lead a team as well as work within a team.
  • Organizational skills with high attention to details required.
  • Able to cope with job pressure and stress Adaptable in regards changes of circumstance.

Where we need you

As a Field Service Engineer you will mainly be travelling to our customers sites/vessels from home but may be required to visit the office or workshop in Stockport on occasion for supporting works.
