For the further strategic development of our Marine and Power field service department, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer at Everllence, former MAN Energy Solutions. As a Field Service Engineer, you are part of a dedicated Field Service team and contribute directly to the company's success. In this position, you will be part of a dynamic Field Service department that supports the Everllence product portfolio for marine and power installations for customers in the UK, Europe and globally and will typically work within a team to support our customers.

We can offer you the following tasks:

  • To assist or be responsible for work tasks in accordance with assigned responsibilities;
  • Being able to carry out maintenance and repair of 4 and 2 stroke engines and associated systems.
  • Support the implementation of field maintenance procedures according to Everllence standards.
  • To be able to carry out performance tests, troubleshooting & root cause analysis.
  • To be able to work with engine automation & mechanical systems, providing support to customers within guidelines as stipulated by Everllence.
  • Implementation of tasks as part of the maintenance of engines.
  • On site Customer operational support in all stages of a project.
  • Support the implementation of HSE standards in maintenance activities.
  • Identifying the spare parts requirements for maintenance of activities.

You Can Help Us With These Qualifications:

  • Apprenticeship time served mechanical or mechatronic Engineer or comparable vocational education with long time work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience of in depth overhaul, service and repair of high or medium speed engines, preferably in the marine industry or power plant industries.
  • Understanding of the business on both technical and commercial levels.
  • IT Proficient with experience of Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English and able to write Technical Reports.
  • Strong networker, engaging, well aware of the local market and within Everllence.
  • Ability to liaise and communicate at all levels in the business as well as intercultural skills and understanding.
  • Very good coordination, organized and communication skills in a highly dynamic environment with high attention to details.
  • Culturally aware and able to work in foreign locations with minimal local support.
  • Results driven, ability to develop and retain key business, consultant and customer relationships.

Where we need you:

As a Field Service Engineer you will mainly be travelling to our customers sites/vessels from home but may be required to visit the office or workshop in Stockport on occasion for supporting works.
