An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Author to join a leading consultancy, seconded into the Sizewell C nuclear power project (working alongside a major infrastructure partner). This is a permanent position offering genuine long-term career development within a growing business area.
You'll play a key role in producing Basis of Estimate (BoE) documentation, working closely with the estimating team to support the development of Target Outturn Cost (TOC) submissions across the project's many work packages from individual structures and work streams through to larger packages of work. Alongside BoE writing, you may also support with CVs and other ad hoc documentation as required.
What the Role Involves:
- Producing clear, high-quality Basis of Estimate documents
- Working closely with the estimating team to translate technical and commercial detail into well-structured written submissions
- Liaising directly with the client, including confidently pushing back on unrealistic deadlines or challenging approaches when needed
