Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector – Engineering & Fabrication We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our client\’s team, supporting the launch of our new a programme. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong final inspection skills to contribute to a forward-thinking engineering business. What you’ll be doing: * Carrying out first-off, patrol and in-process inspections of machined and fabricated parts. * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and customer specifications. * Using mechanical/manual inspection equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, callipers, height gauges). * Operating and calibrating inspection tools. * Supporting inspection of goods-in and final components, including visual checks. * Maintaining inspection records and ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards. * Contributing to a clean and safe working environment. We’d love to hear from you if you have: * Experience in a Quality Inspector role within an engineering or fabrication environment. * Knowledge of ISO9001:2015. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work well in a small team, reporting to the Inspection Team Leader. * Flexibility to work across shift patterns as required. Desirable (but not essential): * CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience. * Weld inspection experience.
