Our client, a well-established and resilient automotive manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. Renowned for stability and excellence, they are a trusted partner to leading OEMs, offering job security and opportunities for career growth. About the Role: As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient facility operations. You’ll oversee a skilled team of 6 Maintenance Engineers on a 3-shift rotation, as well as 2 Apprentices, ensuring maintenance tasks are executed effectively to maximize uptime and equipment performance. Your leadership will contribute to delivering world-class maintenance practices that align with the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Maintenance Supervisor Key Responsibilities: * Lead and support the maintenance team, fostering a proactive and collaborative work environment. * Supervise the planning and implementation of preventive and reactive maintenance schedules. * Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment functionality. * Mentor and guide team members, especially apprentices, to build a strong pipeline of future talent. * Identify and address potential maintenance issues proactively to avoid production disruptions. About You: * Experience in a supervisory or senior maintenance role within a manufacturing environment. * A multi-skilled engineering background, with strengths in both mechanical and electrical disciplines. * Automotive industry experience is a plus but not essential. * Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, driving efficiency and high performance. * Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
