We're recruiting on behalf of an established engineering business looking to invest in the right Radio Remote Controls Technician. - Salary of £25,000 - £45,000, depending on experience
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Monday to Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm

We're looking for a technically minded Radio Remote Controls Technician who has experience working with industrial radio remote control systems and is keen to build a long-term career in a specialist engineering environment. You don't need to know everything from day one. If you understand how industrial radio remote control systems operate, can fault-find, and have a solid technical foundation, our client will provide the product training needed to develop you into a fully qualified Radio Remote Controls Engineer.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining technical design, system testing, fault finding, workshop support and customer-focused engineering solutions.
What you'll be doing as a Radio Remote Controls Technician:
- Designing, building, testing and commissioning industrial radio remote control systems.
- Diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and ensuring systems meet the highest quality and safety standards.
- Providing technical support for quotations, customer requirements and workshop activities.
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver projects on time while continually developing your technical knowledge.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
- Experience with industrial radio remote control systems or similar electrical control equipment.
- Strong fault-finding skills and an electrical or electro-mechanical background.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative engineering team.
