Our client part of a hugely successful group of engineering businesses is investing heavily in their near-to-shape routing service , which has been a runaway success with customers. Demand is booming, so we re opening a dedicated night shift to keep the machines running and customers happy.
What s in it for you as a CNC Programmer
- GBP35,000 GBP40,000 salary + excellent bonus scheme
- Permanent night shift: 8pm 4am (hours flexible for the right person)

You ll be programming and operating a 6m x 3m CNC router producing fast-turnaround, relatively uncomplex aluminium components (up to 50mm thick). It s not glamorous the work is loud, messy and physical but it s highly valued and critical to the business.
The router runs on bespoke, easy-to-learn software if you ve programmed in any other CNC environment, you can pick it up quickly.
What you ll do as a CNC Programmer
- Program and operate a large CNC router
- Produce near-to-shape aluminium components for multiple industries
- Manage the night shift independently with minimal supervision
- Keep production on schedule while maintaining quality
Who we re looking for
- A reliable, self-starting CNC Programmer who can work solo at night
- Experience in CNC programming (any software) 2+ years minimum
- Able to handle a physical, noisy and messy working environment
- Either an experienced hand or someone ready to step up to bigger kit
