Our client in Blackburn is a well-established, highly successful manufacturer with 300+ employees, long‑term contracts and serious investment in new machinery, new capabilities and new people. They’re growing fast and are now looking to add three experienced Welders to their permanent day shift team.
Pay, hours & benefits
- Hourly rate up to ÂŁ17.25 (depending on experience)
- Permanent role with a stable, growing employer and modern equipment.
- Permanent Day Shift | Mon–Thurs: 7:30am–4:00pm | Fri: 7:00am–12:00pm (early finish!)
The role
- Working as part of a skilled fabrication team, you will carry out high-quality TIG welding on sheet metal components (this is the core of the job).
- Work from drawings and job cards to produce accurate, consistent work.
- Inspect your own welds and contribute to a clean, safe, professional working environment.
- Play your part in delivering on long‑term customer contracts and new projects.
About you
- We’re interested in high‑calibre, professional welders – whether you have a few years’ experience or decades on the tools. It’s all about your attitude and pride in your work.
- You will need proven TIG welding experience on sheet metal – this is essential.
