We’re looking to employ a motivated enthusiastic Design Document Controller to join our small but fast paced Facades team, reporting directly to the Design Manager.
About the Role:
The Design Document Controller is responsible for managing, tracking and maintaining all project design documentation. Ensuring accuracy, version control, and timely distribution of drawings, specifications, and technical documents across project teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update design documents, drawings and revision logs.
- Implement and follow document control procedures.
- Distribute documents to internal teams and external consultants.
- Manage approval workflows and track deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with company and project standards.
- Administer all document management systems.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams across design, engineering, and construction disciplines.
- Involvement in both pre-construction and live schemes.
- Coordinating associated BSR related documents with consultants and clients.
- Collating design information relating to the Golden Thread/Gateway 3 and creating completing packs for handover of projects.
Essential Experience/Qualifications:
- Experience in document control within engineering, design, or constructions environments.
- Familiarity with design documentation and revision control.
- Proficient in document management software.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Effective communication and multi-tasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages.
