They are seeking a proactive and motivated junior-mid Level Project Developer to join their team in London. You will play a critical role in originating, developing, and managing renewable energy projects from initial site identification through to the delivery of consented projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential sites for solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS projects across the UK.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, including resource assessment, grid connection analysis, and environmental considerations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners, local authorities, communities, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead community consultation events to ensure local buy-in and address concerns.
  • Prepare and manage planning applications, ensuring compliance with UK planning laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with consultants (e.g., environmental specialists, legal advisors) to support the planning process.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure milestones are met.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market opportunities that could impact project development.
  • Provide input to strategic decisions on project pipeline expansion.

Requirements:
