We are looking for a qualified electrician to join our growing team. Would suit someone with existing QS experience or an electrician who would like to take a step up to a QS role, in which case training will be given. There would be a split between time working on site and time spent in the office.
The successful candidate will work alongside our electrical and plumbing teams on renewable projects. These will include Air & Ground Source Heat Pump installations, solar PV, EESS (battery storage) and bespoke new build and renovation projects with an emphasis on sustainability. Training will be given where necessary. This is a full-time role. Company vehicle provided with fuel card.
Job Description:
- Oversee projects and manage staff to ensure that all works carried out are meeting customer expectations and all company / BS7671 / NICEIC requirements.
- Operate as Qualified Supervisor, be the main point of contact between the company and NICEIC ensuring technical compliance and validate and sign off NICEIC certification.
- Carry out assessments and deliver regular CPD updates to our electrical operatives, and maintain your own CPD in line with EAS standards.
- All the above with the support of the PDH and General Manager – it is a team effort!
Key requirements:
- Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team, as required.
- Must have good communication skills, with good standard of written and spoken English and be of smart appearance with pleasant and friendly manner.
- Have basic IT skills and be computer literate.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
- BS 7671 edition.
- C&G 2391 / Inspection and Testing qualification.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Full UK driving licence.
