We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced ENT Consultant to join our established team and make a meaningful difference in patient care. This role will support the growing demand within our Consultant‑Led Community ENT Clinic. The successful applicant will deliver the highest standard of outpatient ENT care, managing all routine ENT conditions, including paediatric patients, while working autonomously within a community setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, high‑quality outpatient ENT services in line with clinical best practice and governance standards.
- Work collaboratively with the ENT Lead and report to the Service Manager (Operations) to manage all aspects of the ENT service in line with agreed objectives.
- Contribute to the development and optimisation of patient pathways, improving access, outcomes, and patient experience.
- Support service efficiency by driving best practice in performance management and financial sustainability.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, implement innovative ways of working, and improve service delivery.
- Lead, motivate, and support the multidisciplinary team to achieve maximum efficiency and high standards of care.
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Extensive experience in ENT outpatient care, including management of paediatric ENT patients.
- Ability to manage all routine ENT conditions independently within a community clinic setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining high clinical and professional standards.
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement.
- Experience of service development, pathway optimisation, and improving operational efficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and service management.
- Commitment to cost‑effective care, innovation, and continuous service improvement.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
