The Opportunity
This role is key to keeping our production site operating efficiently. You'll focus on reducing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting continuous improvement across electrical and control systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining and improving PLC, SCADA and control systems
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across site equipment
- Supporting production teams with technical expertise
- Driving improvements and reducing reliance on external contractors
- Installing and commissioning new plant and control systems
- Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in electrical and control systems within manufacturing
- Proven fault-finding and maintenance skills on production equipment
- Knowledge of PLC systems and preventative maintenance processes
- Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (apprenticeship, ONC or equivalent)
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- HNC or further qualifications
- Experience with Lean/continuous improvement tools (e.g. TPM, 5S)
