We’re looking for a proactive People & Culture Business Partner to support our Supply Chain & Logistics leadership teams across two key sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and deliver a people strategy that drives safety, efficiency, performance, and an exceptional colleague experience — all while enjoying a 4‑day working week (Mon–Thurs) designed to support work–life balance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • True Business Partnering
    • Partner with Site Managers and cross‑functional leaders (Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Planning, Finance, EHS).
    • Align people plans with production, service, and cost priorities.
    • Lead workforce planning, succession pipelines, and capability development across all shifts.
    • Advise on organisational design to enable productivity and future growth.
  • Employee Relations & Culture
    • Drive a culture centred on safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
    • Support engagement and retention initiatives tailored to operational teams and seasonal peaks.
    • Identify skill gaps and embed skills matrices across the sites.
    • Build targeted development plans for supervisors, team leaders and managers.
    • Coach leaders and support leadership programme rollouts.
    • Lead talent and performance processes, ensuring succession for critical roles.
  • Change Management
    • Lead people elements of operational changes (shift restructures, automation, transitions).
    • Ensure clear communication across diverse and shift‑based workforces.
  • People Analytics & Insight
    • Provide insights on seasonal trends, risks, and workforce optimisation.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong People & Culture/HR generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted relationships at every level.
  • Solid experience managing ER cases in operational environments.
  • Understanding of shift patterns, workforce planning, and operational performance drivers.
  • Confidence using HR metrics and data to shape decisions.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential if you have strong hands‑on experience.
