We are a fabrication firm based in Derby supplying high quality stainless-steel fabrications into a variety of industries such as Utilities, Food and Beverage. We are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join us on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks ensuring the accuracy of our financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Inputting purchase orders
- Matching and booking in goods
- Inputting purchase invoices
- Inputting sales orders
- Raising sales invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Maintaining electronic filing system
- Reconciling credit card transactions
- Credit control
- Supporting the Accounts Manager as necessary
- General office tasks
Experience:
- Must have experience of Sage 50 Accounts
- Must have experience of Excel, Word and Outlook
- A good understanding of financial procedures
- Experience of working on sales or purchase ledger, ideally both
- General office/administration tasks
- Confident to manage own workload in order to meet deadlines
Benefits:
- Permanent position
- Part-time β 20 hours per week, times/days to be agreed
- Company pension
- From Β£12-Β£14 per hour depending on experience
- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (FTE)
- This role will be office based in Derby
