Evergreen Exterior Services Ltd are a wholesale nursery specialising in plants and shrubs, we independently source over 12,000 plant varieties across the UK and Europe and currently supply over 250 garden centres nationwide.

Job Description:

Primary Duties: .Dealing with customers on a face-to-face basis ensuring that all goods purchased on site are scanned and invoiced with the correct payment taken against the invoice, answering customer queries as and when necessary, maintaining front of house and surrounding areas.

Other Responsibilities: Keeping the nursery tidy and presentable, laying stock out ensuring it is put in the correct place, maintaining plant health for example watering, pruning, feeding when and where necessary. Loading and unloading of lorries in a timely manner, ensuring all health and safety measures are adhered to. Responsible for making sure plants are labelled correctly. Collating clients orders. Other duties around the nursery as and when required by management. Some heavy lifting is required.

Skills and attributes required: Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. We require a hardworking individual who is able to work in a team and also use their own initiative. Must be able to respond well to pressure and have good time management skills, as well as excellent customer service skills, Candidates will also require their own transport.

Preferred skills: Knowledge of the horticultural industry or a keen interest in plants.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £24,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
