This is a practical, hands-on role working across the nursery and would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors and as part of a team. Previous horticultural experience would be beneficial, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Keeping the nursery clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
- Laying out and organising plant stock, ensuring plants are placed in the correct locations.
- Maintaining plant health, including watering, pruning and feeding as required.
- Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring plants are correctly labelled and presented.
- Handling and moving plant stock safely around the nursery.
- Following all Company health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Assisting colleagues across the nursery during busy periods.
- Carrying out other reasonable duties around the nursery as required by management.
