Working in Walk in Centres and Urgent care settings across Merseyside. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients in our walk-in centre and urgent care settings. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations. * Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses. * Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate. * Perform minor procedures and wound care. * Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care. * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. * Maintain accurate and timely patient records. Practitioners are expected to work autonomously, but they also need to be able to work well within a team. They should have excellent written and verbal skills, and be able to organize and prioritize their own workload and the workload of others. Must have: * 6 Months + NHS experience within A&E, UTC, OOH, WIC * Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Shift patterns available are: Early – 08:00-16:00 Day – 08:00-18:00 Late – 13:00-21:00 Long day – 08:00-21:00 Very competitive hourly rates available and block bookings also.
