Pay Rate:

  • PAYE: £14.15 per hour
  • Umbrella PAYE: £16.65 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service to patients
  • Managing incoming telephone calls and patient enquiries
  • Booking, amending, and cancelling appointments
  • Processing patient registrations and updating records
  • Handling clinical correspondence and administrative tasks
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of GP practice reception services
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to NHS policies and procedures

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist within a GP Practice
  • Proficient in SystmOne
  • Valid NHS Smartcard
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different practice environments
  • Reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work
