Key Responsibilities
- Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service to patients
- Managing incoming telephone calls and patient enquiries
- Booking, amending, and cancelling appointments
- Processing patient registrations and updating records
- Handling clinical correspondence and administrative tasks
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of GP practice reception services
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to NHS policies and procedures
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist within a GP Practice
- Proficient in SystmOne
- Valid NHS Smartcard
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different practice environments
- Reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work
