Our Mission
Evergive was built around a radical question: what if every donation could be made once and last forever? Donations on Evergive are invested, allowing charities to benefit from long-term upside into perpetuity. We are building financial infrastructure designed to create sustainable funding for causes that matter. We work with some of the world’s most trusted organisations, including Save the Children, Amnesty International, BBC Media Action, and United Nations-affiliated initiatives.

Your Mission
You will act as the operational backbone of Evergive. This role sits across product delivery, compliance, finance, people operations, partnerships, governance, and execution. You will work directly with the founder to translate priorities into action, maintain visibility across the business, remove blockers before they surface, and ensure the company operates with speed and discipline. We are looking for a rare operator: someone highly structured without becoming bureaucratic, comfortable with ambiguity, and capable of context-switching across legal, operational, financial, and product matters in a single day.

What Good Looks Like

  • Business Operations
    • Own day-to-day business operations across Evergive.
    • Maintain visibility across workstreams, priorities, blockers, and dependencies.
    • Ensure decisions are captured, communicated, and operationalised quickly.
    • Create structure and execution discipline while keeping the business agile.
  • People Operations & HR
    • Own people operations and HR coordination.
    • Support performance management, employment processes, documentation, and policy implementation.
    • Help build scalable operational infrastructure for a growing team.
  • Product & Delivery Operations
    • Coordinate operational readiness across product and engineering.
    • Support launches, SDK integrations, partner onboarding, and product-related compliance.
    • Ensure execution quality across product-adjacent workstreams.
  • Revenue & Growth Operations
    • Support the operational side of partnerships and growth.
    • Improve coordination between product, growth, and delivery.
    • Ensure opportunities move cleanly from introduction to execution.
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Translate legal and regulatory guidance into operational requirements.
    • Identify risks early and maintain strong governance discipline.
    • Help ensure Evergive operates cleanly across charity, regulatory, and reporting obligations.
  • Finance Coordination
    • Maintain operational oversight of budgets, invoices, vendors, and financial dependencies.
    • Ensure coordination with finance partners is accurate and timely.
  • AI & Automation
    • Embed AI and automation into day-to-day operations.
    • Identify inefficiencies and improve workflows using tools like Claude, Notion AI, and automation systems.
    • Raise the operational baseline of the business through smarter systems.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Founder Mentality
    • You think like an owner.
    • You may have been a founder, an early-stage operator, or someone trusted to run critical parts of a business independently. What matters most is accountability, initiative, and ownership.
  • Proven Startup Operator
    • 5–8 years in operations, business operations, strategy, or similar roles.
    • Experience working in high-growth or early-stage environments.
    • Comfortable working directly with founders and senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional by Default
    • You can operate across product, people, finance, legal, and growth simultaneously without losing clarity.
  • Execution-Focused
    • You identify problems early, build structure quickly, and drive outcomes without needing heavy oversight.
  • Calm Under Pressure
    • You bring clarity during ambiguity, handle sensitive matters with discretion, and act as a stabilising force when things move quickly.
  • Leadership
    • Experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Comfortable holding high standards while building trust.
    • Able to delegate effectively while remaining hands-on when required.
  • AI & Systems Fluent
    • You naturally look for opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve the way teams operate.

What Success Looks Like

  • Day 30
    • Full visibility across operational priorities and dependencies.
    • Strong working rhythm established with the founder.
    • Key relationships and workstreams mapped.
  • Day 60
    • Independently resolving operational blockers.
    • Early process improvements implemented.
    • Clear perspective on operational gaps and opportunities.
  • Day 90
    • Acting as the operational anchor of the business.
    • Founder bandwidth materially increased.
    • Governance and compliance processes operating cleanly.
  • 6 Months
    • Business operating faster with less founder dependency.
    • AI-enabled workflows embedded across operations.
    • Strong coordination across people, finance, and execution.
  • 12 Months
    • Operational infrastructure becomes a competitive advantage.
    • Trusted to challenge decisions when risk or long-term thinking requires it.
