About the role:

We’re looking for a welcoming, organized, and tech‑savvy Receptionist to be the face of our office. In this in‑person role, you’ll greet visitors, manage phone calls, and help keep our office running smoothly. You’ll assist with scheduling, event coordination, office supplies, and light administrative tasks. If you enjoy creating a positive first impression and have a knack for multitasking, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visitor Management: Receive and direct visitors and vendors; issue visitor badges and maintain logs.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with general clerical duties including filing, mail distribution, and special projects.
  • Conference Room Setup: Assist with troubleshooting and setup for large meetings, maintaining room temperature, and coordinating attendee information.
  • Catering for meetings and executives: Handle daily lunch orders and meeting catering for executives and assist with Herndon meeting lunch orders as needed.
  • Office Supplies: Manage office supply orders for executives and teams, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • FedEx Shipments: Coordinate and process shipments, particularly when the primary personnel are unavailable.
  • Parking Passes & Guest Escorting: Issue parking passes and escort guests to their destinations within the office.
  • Event & Gift Coordination: Manage logistics for special events; arrange anniversary cards and order flowers or gift baskets for occasions such as birthdays, new babies, or illness.
  • Purchase Orders & Corporate Card Orders: Assist in processing purchase orders and managing orders using company purchasing cards.
  • Guest Travel Bookings: Arrange travel for guests, new hires, and interview candidates, including transportation and accommodation as needed.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Support HR with onboarding tasks and answer general inquiries from new hires.
  • Snack & Beverage Ordering: Ensure the office is stocked with snacks, soda, and water for meetings and general office needs.
  • Package Deliveries: Receive and manage package deliveries.
  • Fun Committee: Provide additional support for company events and team‑building activities.
  • Conference Room Calendaring: Manage conference room schedules, ensuring no overlap or double booking.

Key Knowledge and Skills:

Salary and Benefits:

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: £27,000.00-37,500.00 GBP. In addition to base salary and either bonus or commission, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including competitive annual leave, pension match, PMI, dental, health cash plan, income protection, in a hybrid work environment.
