About the Role
Everfox is looking for an Electronics Production Engineer to join our production engineering team in London. This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to develop a broad range of hands‑on technical and operational skills. In this role, you will help develop and optimise various aspects of our production workflows, enabling the secure, high‑volume delivery of our hardware‑based cyber‑security products. You will work in close collaboration with our Hardware Design, Production, and Lab teams to bridge the gap between initial design and volume manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Development: Design and implement efficient test and assembly processes using a mix of custom‑designed fixtures and standard lab equipment.
- Manufacturing Transition: Work directly with hardware design engineers to ensure new products transition smoothly into high‑volume manufacturing.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Help coordinate, train, and support manufacturing subcontractors to ensure the delivery of high‑quality products.
- Data Lifecycle Management: Maintain and update PCB, mechanical, and system‑level design data using product life‑cycle management (PLM) tools.
- Test Automation & Debugging: Create and modify low‑level software and firmware to test programmable electronic devices; use oscilloscopes and multimeters to debug hardware issues.
- Security & Compliance: Research, develop, and deploy new manufacturing techniques to improve product security, while aiding in ongoing hardware compliance and certification.
Skills & Experience
- Academic Foundation: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering (or a similar technical subject) with a classification of 2:1 or higher.
- Digital Electronics: A demonstrated interest in digital electronics and working with programmable devices.
- Collaboration: An understanding of collaborative task management and working within cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Software & Scripting: Python scripting and basic coding in C/C++.
- Operating Systems: Familiarity with Embedded Linux systems.
- Hardware Analysis: Basic experience with PCB debugging and hardware testing.
- Ability to obtain UK SC clearance.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: £36,400.00‑49,600.00 GBP. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverage.
