**Location:** Malvern, UK - Hybrid (2 days a week in office)
We are looking for a Graduate or Junior Software Engineer to join the Everfox UK development team. Applicants should either have received a degree in the last two years or have held a Junior Software Developer position for a maximum of 1-2 years. As a Junior or Graduate Software Engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled team writing complex cybersecurity solutions software. You will be expected to demonstrate enthusiasm and an ability to learn rapidly whilst also making a valuable contribution to the team.
**As a Junior or Graduate Software Engineer, You Will Be Expected To:**
- Write high quality code following our agile-based development methodology and our chosen toolset.
- Test software both formally and ad-hoc.
- Produce documentation using industry-standard tools.
- Work within a closely-knit team.
Although the core requirement is for software development using a C-like programming language, the role requires flexibility to implement solutions across the full stack.
**Our Ideal Candidate Will Have One Or More of The Following:**
- Computing, scientific, or mathematical degree or have held a junior position as a software developer for maximum 1-2 years.
- Domain knowledge of, or an interest in, application security.
- Experience of programming; desired languages are Go and C++, however Python, Java and C# are acceptable.
- Basic understanding of Linux.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Task focused and the ability to work independently.
- The ability to work collaboratively across functions within the business and to be adaptable and flexible.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Suitability to hold UK security clearance is essential.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: £32,600.00 GBP. The actual salary offered may vary based on a candidate's unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
