Role and Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for acquiring new clients in the assigned GTM segment through prospecting and lead generation.
  • Building a pipeline and managing to deliver targets.
  • Create top of the funnel activity, creating suspects and then qualifying those to being prospects.
  • Market connectivity to get called into RFXs.
  • Front end client communications, drive win themes and take leadership role in proposal content creation, pricing, etc.
  • May also be responsible for achieving/surpassing revenue targets in the assigned portfolio.
  • Expand market penetration.
  • Put our solutions & services knowledge to commercial use and participate in estimates in accordance with the sales menu and pricing policy.
  • Responsible for market watch & regularly provide feedback for benchmarking our solutions & services against source, data and competitors.

Competencies:

  • Good hold of industry domain (BFSI preferable but happy to consider other domains too).
  • Stakeholder mapping & management across prospects/clients' organisation.
  • In depth knowledge about IT Services & products for the assigned GTM & solution set.
  • Good understanding of the IT landscape, products & business.
  • Real time grasp of competitors' services and range of solutions.
  • Aggressive & ability to take risks with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent clarity & articulate in communication and presentation skills, verbal & written.
  • Energetic, self-driven & motivated to perform.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree &/or Business Degree/Masters.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in the IT Services Industry.
  • Hands-on experience & track record in new sales/client engagement management.
  • Expertise in selling software solutions and services.
  • An active client engagement experience.

Additional Notes:

  • Relish high pressure situations & target driven appraisals.
  • Ability to work in a team towards joint responsibilities of revenue targets.
  • Ability to work in collaboration with other functions towards any pursuit or/and engagement.
  • Flexible & multi-tasking ability.
