We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the delivery of a cloud-based Derivatives Valuation and Curve Validation platform leveraging Dataiku, Microsoft Azure, and .NET technologies. The role will drive architecture, delivery governance, stakeholder management, and technical leadership for applications focused on derivative asset/liability valuation, market curve validation, treasury analytics, and related financial controls. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, quantitative teams, cloud engineers, and offshore delivery teams to ensure scalable and compliant solutions aligned with financial industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery of derivatives analytics and curve validation applications.
- Drive architecture and integration strategy across Dataiku, Azure cloud services, and .NET-based applications.
- Collaborate with treasury, finance, risk, and quantitative analytics teams to understand valuation and risk management requirements.
- Manage delivery roadmap, sprint planning, technical governance, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, audit, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee API and microservices-based integration design across internal and external systems.
- Guide offshore engineering teams for development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Ensure platform scalability, resiliency, and cloud optimization on Azure.
- Participate in solution reviews, risk assessments, and production readiness activities.
- Support model governance and financial controls related to derivative valuation processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in technical leadership roles.
- Strong experience in Azure cloud architecture and enterprise application delivery.
- Experience working with Dataiku for analytics, data pipelines, or AI/ML-driven applications.
- Strong knowledge of .NET / ASP.NET Core architecture and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with financial services, treasury, derivatives, or risk management platforms.
- Understanding of derivative valuation concepts, yield curves, curve validation, or market data processing.
- Experience with APIs, microservices, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
- Experience managing distributed/global teams.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to market risk or quantitative analytics platforms.
- Experience with Python and SQL-based analytics ecosystems.
- Familiarity with regulatory and audit requirements in banking/financial services.
