At Everflow, we’re redefining the utility industry. We are an award-winning, fast-growing company, delivering exceptional and environmentally friendly water and waste services to businesses across the UK. Our mission is to simplify utilities, saving our customers time, money, and energy so they can focus on what matters most: achieving their business goals.

Everflow isn’t like other companies. We encourage our people to be their authentic selves and embrace the freedom to innovate. It’s not just about delivering exceptional results for our customers; it’s about cultivating a fulfilling, balanced work environment where great things happen.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Delivery Manager to support the effective delivery of our software and systems for one or more of our software engineering teams and specialist disciplines, some of which may be from our network of augmentation partners. You will own end-to-end delivery predictability providing transparent forecasts and delivery metrics. Partnering closely with Product and Engineering leadership and as a peer to our Engineering leads, you will enable high-pace delivery without compromising quality or sustainable team health. This is not a remote role. You will need to be able to commute to our Peterlee office.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who can work proactively and autonomously with a focus on software and systems delivery at pace, adopting project timelines set out by the business, understanding risks and issues, and adapting ways of working to ensure successful delivery to time and budget. While you will own and facilitate our agile sprint rituals, this is not a “Scrum Master” role; you will have a commercially aware project delivery focus.

  • Own demand intake and backlog readiness, supporting prioritisation.
  • Own delivery forecasting and managing capacity utilisation with stakeholders.
  • Producing metrics and insights, providing daily/weekly/monthly reporting telling the story in plain English.
  • Maintain RAID, drive return to green plans and proactively identify and resolve impediments.
  • Run and continuously improve our rituals and ways of working.
  • Track and manage delivery on a daily basis matching delivery to timesheet data, ensuring we deliver to time and budget.
  • Undertake supplier management, holding them to account.
