What you will do
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Executives, providing guidance, motivation, and coaching to drive high performance.
- Independently lead and close deals with enterprise customers.
- Support your team with larger, more complex deals to ensure successful closing.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to generate high-quality leads and help to develop strategies to enable expansion into adjacent markets.
- Foster a collaborative and high-energy team culture that encourages continuous improvement and success.
- Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
- Provide regular reporting on performance and sales forecasts to the CEO and other senior leaders.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organisations to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
- Actively seek and gather customer feedback on product features, pricing, and overall experience, working closely with product teams to share customer insights and feedback.
- Leverage CRM insights to optimise sales performance, manage pipeline health, and identify growth opportunities.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience of reaching and exceeding goals as an individual contributor, as well as ownership of the team's sales target.
- Deep understanding of the SaaS sales process and methodologies.
- Demonstrable experience of closing complex deals with enterprise clients in the SaaS industry is highly preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn and master Trade Interchange's technology solution and effectively present its benefits to diverse stakeholders throughout the sales process.
- Previous experience in a similar role or having prior leadership/team management responsibilities is preferable.
- Relevant industry experience selling to similar customers across the supplier management or food & beverage space is highly beneficial!
