About us
Strategic Thinking, part of the Everfield ecosystem, is a Glasgow-based software company on a mission to raise standards across the health and social care sector. Through a powerful online platform, combining 100+ e-learning courses, compliance tools, clinical audit suites, staff wellness resources, and a rota management app they help care homes and care providers across the UK and Ireland develop their teams, hit compliance targets, and deliver better outcomes for the people in their care.
We're now hiring our first dedicated Sales Lead to take us from reactive growth to a proactive, structured sales function, and this is a genuinely exciting opportunity to build something from the ground up.
The role
- You'll own new business development across Scotland and Ireland, reporting to the Managing Director.
- Day-to-day will be identifying and targeting care home groups and providers, managing pipeline and lead generation, as well as putting in place plans to maximise value from the existing accounts.
- You'll also line-manage, bringing structure and coaching to the team.
- This isn't a desk job. We want someone who loves being out in front of customers, builds relationships through genuine understanding of the care sector, and thrives without a script.
What we're looking for
- An experienced, proven seller who's equally comfortable picking up the phone and sitting across the table from a group operations director.
- Experience selling into SMEs and/or multi-site organisations - care sector knowledge is a bonus, not a requirement.
- Experience working with and managing customer accounts to maximise value.
- Comfortable with building processes and operating independently within a small team and fast-paced environment.
- Based in or within easy reach of Glasgow; happy to travel across Scotland and Ireland.
- Someone who has led a sales team - or is clearly ready to - and can build and manage a growing one - this isn’t just an individual contributor role, and we need someone who won't simply head off to close their own deals.
- A strategic thinker who can define and own the sales strategy - setting targets, shaping the go-to-market approach, and building the foundations of a scalable sales function.
What you can expect
- A collaborative, close-knit team culture within a reputable, well-established company — backed by strong client relationships and a market-leading product.
- Flexible working arrangements that fit around your life.
- An attractive, commission structure that genuinely rewards your success.
- A role that will evolve and grow in scope as the company scales.
- A genuine opportunity to progress into a more senior leadership position as you help build out the sales function.
- Learning and development opportunities within the wider Everfield ecosystem.
Interview Process:
Here’s what to expect and who you’ll meet during the recruitment process:
- First interview with Talent Acquisition Manager - Holly Brown (0.5 h)
- Second interview with Hiring Manager (1.0 h)
- Third interview (Case Study) with Director & Hiring Manager (1.0 h)
