About Everfield
Everfield buys, builds, and grows European vertical market and specialist software companies, providing them with the tools they need to move to the next level. Our mission is to foster ambition, fuel growth, and unlock opportunities for Europe’s software ecosystem.
Companies in the Everfield ecosystem follow a decentralised model, maintaining their team, brand, and offices, while focusing on what they do best - building products and supporting customers. Everfield provides support in talent acquisition, HR, and access to a team of experts in building and growing European B2B SaaS companies who consult on financial and operational topics.
Strategic Thinking, part of the Everfield ecosystem, is a Glasgow-based software company on a mission to raise standards across the health and social care sector. Through a powerful online platform, combining 100+ e-learning courses, compliance tools, clinical audit suites, staff wellness resources, and a rota management app they help care homes and care providers across the UK and Ireland develop their teams, hit compliance targets, and deliver better outcomes for the people in their care.
We're now hiring our first dedicated Sales Lead to take us from reactive growth to a proactive, structured sales function, and this is a genuinely exciting opportunity to build something from the ground up.
Day-to-day will be identifying and targeting care home groups and providers, managing pipeline and lead generation, as well as putting in place plans to maximise value from the existing accounts. You'll also line-manage, bringing structure and coaching to the team.
- An experienced, proven seller who's equally comfortable picking up the phone and sitting across the table from a group operations director.
- Experience selling into SMEs and/or multi-site organisations - care sector knowledge is a bonus, not a requirement.
- Experience working with and managing customer accounts to maximise value.
- Comfortable with building processes and operating independently within a small team and fast-paced environment.
- Happy to travel across Scotland and Ireland.
- Someone who has led a sales team - or is clearly ready to - and can build and manage a growing one - this isn’t just an individual contributor role, and we need someone who won't simply head off to close their own deals.
- A strategic thinker who can define and own the sales strategy - setting targets, shaping the go-to-market approach, and building the foundations of a scalable sales function.
- Flexible working arrangements that fit around your life.
- A genuine opportunity to progress into a more senior leadership position as you help build out the sales function.
- Learning and development opportunities within the wider Everfield ecosystem.
Here’s what to expect and who you’ll meet during the recruitment process:
- First interview with Talent Acquisition Manager - Holly Brown (0.5 h).
- Second interview with Hiring Manager (1.0 h).
- Third interview (Case Study) with Director & Hiring Manager (1.0 h).
We are an equal opportunity employer and ensure that no applicant is subject to less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, gender identity, marital status, race, colour, nationality, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, responsibilities for dependants, physical or mental disability.
