A top-tier, sector-specialist private equity firm is seeking a Junior Vice President to join its London investment team. The platform is known for growth-oriented buyouts and growth equity investing, with a long-standing focus across Technology, Media & Communications (TMT) and education / technology-enabled services in Europe and North America.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a lean, high-performing team where you will take meaningful responsibility across the full deal cycle—from origination and execution through portfolio work—alongside senior investors and management teams.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a commercially sharp, execution-strong investor who can drive workstreams independently and operate confidently in a high-standards environment. You will support and lead key elements of transactions and portfolio initiatives, and contribute to the team’s market coverage within the firm’s core sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support origination by screening opportunities, mapping subsectors, and building high-quality investment theses
- Lead core execution workstreams: financial modeling (LBO / operating models), valuation, diligence coordination, and IC materials
- Evaluate business models, unit economics, competitive positioning, and growth levers within TMT / education / tech-enabled services
- Manage third-party advisors (commercial, financial, legal), timelines, and diligence outputs across parallel workstreams
- Work closely with portfolio company management teams on performance tracking, strategic initiatives, and board materials
- Prepare investment memos, KPI dashboards, and concise updates for senior stakeholders
- Mentor analysts/associates and raise the bar on quality, clarity, and pace of execution
What We’re Looking For
Typically 5–8 years of experience (flexible), likely from:
- Top-tier private equity (Associate / Senior Associate), or
- M&A / Leveraged Finance at a leading investment bank
