We are currently working with a London-based hedge fund / public markets investment platform looking to add an Investment Analyst / Associate to the team.
The strategy is focused on fundamental, catalyst-driven investing, with exposure to event-driven situations, special situations and public markets opportunities.
Responsibilities
- 8–10 years of top-tier Investment Banking experience (M&A / event-heavy execution backgrounds strongly preferred)
- 6–8 years in a fundamental investing strategy (L/S, Event Driven, catalyst-led public markets investing)
Qualifications
- Typical backgrounds may include GS, JPM, MS, Evercore, PJT, Lazard, Guggenheim, BofA and similar platforms.
Required Skills
- Relevant experience includes exposure to: M&A / take-privates / spin-offs / restructurings / special situations
- Valuation, modelling and catalyst-driven investment analysis
- Public markets investing or event-led fundamental strategies
Preferred Skills
- Not a fit: private equity secondaries, co-invest, LP platforms, traditional private markets-only investing.
