A global investment group is looking to hire an Investment Manager to support its UK expansion strategy. The firm actively acquires and partners with businesses internationally and is strengthening its London presence to identify and execute strategic acquisitions across the UK market.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on sourcing and executing acquisitions while helping build a strong UK investment pipeline.
Key Responsibilities- Source and originate acquisition opportunities across UK SME and mid-market businesses
- Build relationships with corporate finance advisors, brokers, intermediaries and business owners
- Lead transactions from initial discussions through due diligence and completion
- Perform financial analysis, valuation modelling and commercial assessments
- Coordinate legal, financial and tax due diligence processes
- Provide investment analysis and reporting to senior leadership and international stakeholders
- Support integration and strategic development of acquired businesses
- 5+ years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking or private equity
- Strong financial modelling and valuation experience
- Experience executing or supporting acquisition transactions
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to build relationships across the UK advisory ecosystem
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field
- MBA / MSc Finance or professional certifications (ACA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous
- Experience with UK SME acquisitions or the education sector is beneficial
