We are currently working with a London-based investment and advisory platform looking to add an Analyst or Associate to its Strategic Advisory and Special Situations team. The role combines elements of M&A, strategic advisory, capital solutions and complex transaction execution across sponsor-backed and corporate situations. The team operates across cross-border mandates with exposure to infrastructure, transportation, industrials, logistics and broader real assets environments. The platform would be particularly interested in candidates coming from Investment Banking, Private Equity, Strategic Finance or Special Situations backgrounds with strong analytical and execution capabilities.

About the Role

The role combines elements of M&A, strategic advisory, capital solutions and complex transaction execution across sponsor-backed and corporate situations.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of strategic advisory and transaction mandates
  • Build and review detailed financial models and valuation analyses
  • Assist on M&A, restructuring, capital raising and special situations processes
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations and transaction materials
  • Conduct market, sector and company analysis
  • Work closely with senior bankers, investors and management teams

Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of experience within Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Private Equity or Strategic Advisory

Required Skills

  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skillset
  • Exposure to transaction execution processes
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities
  • Experience working in fast-paced transaction environments
  • London-based or willing to relocate
