A leading financial advisory firm is in search of an Associate to join its Financial Advisory team. The role focuses on financial due diligence across lower mid-market transactions, supporting private equity investors and corporate clients across a range of sectors, with strong exposure to technology and software businesses. The team typically advises on transactions ranging from £5m to £100m. This position offers the opportunity to work on live deals in a fast-paced transaction environment and gain strong exposure to private equity and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence
- Analyse company financial performance, working capital, and key value drivers
- Prepare financial due diligence reports and presentations for clients
- Support senior team members throughout live transactions
- Conduct industry and company research
- Interact with management teams, investors, and advisors during transactions
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in Transaction Services or Financial Due Diligence
- Background in Big4, advisory firms, or financial consulting preferred
- Strong financial analysis and Excel skills
- Understanding of corporate finance and transaction processes
- ACA / ACCA (qualified or part-qualified) preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Exposure to technology or software sector deals
- Experience working with private equity clients
