Requirements
- Experience in mobile platform security, threat modelling and mitigation techniques
- Ability to conduct regular reviews of our mobile application security posture using hands‑on experience
- Experience developing and maintaining pen‑testing security tools, scripts, policies and procedures
- In‑depth knowledge of mobile app security standards for Android and iOS
- Familiarity with mobile development, DevSecOps tooling, testing and automation frameworks
- Deep knowledge and experience using mobile security tools
- Good understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and cryptography patterns
- Experience proactively researching new technologies emerging in the security landscape
Responsibilities
- Design, build and ship new features and enhancements for our Android applications, from technical design through to production release
- Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested Kotlin code, participate in peer code reviews and uphold engineering standards across the codebase
- Contribute to the evolution of the application architecture, ensuring the codebase remains modular, scalable and easy to work in
- Profile, benchmark and optimise the application for responsiveness, battery efficiency and stability across a wide range of devices and OS versions
- Work closely with product owners, designers, backend engineers and QA to deliver polished, well‑integrated user experiences
- Build and maintain unit and UI test coverage, support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to reliable, frequent releases through the Play Store
- Keep abreast of new Android technologies, libraries and best practices, and champion their adoption where they add value

About the role
