Everest Recruitment and Services Ltd is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Somerset on a temporary basis pending permanent recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • This role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) within a classroom environment.
  • You will work closely with the class teacher to assist with learning activities, provide 1:1 or small group support, and help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Working Hours

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 12:30, for approximately 3–4 weeks.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEN, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to supporting learning and behaviour.
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and will be subject to safeguarding checks, including an Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references.
