As a BIM Engineer – Mechanical, you will be responsible for the development and coordination of HVAC designs using Building Information Modeling (BIM) for diverse projects across the UK, US, and Middle East regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical modelling and expertise in relevant software applications. Roles and Responsibilities

Hands on experience in BIM Modelling on Revit software.

Independently Read & understand various MEP Mark-ups / drawings / Plan / Section / Schematic.

Perform assigned 3D Revit modeling tasks as assigned by the lead. MEP services modelling & coordination using Revit MEP.

Develop and coordinate HVAC models using Revit MEP, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Collaborate with project teams to integrate mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems into overall building designs, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.

Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit Fabrication, BIM 360, and Navisworks for model creation, detailing, and coordination.

Conduct clash detection and resolution using Navisworks to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with plumbing and electrical systems.

Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports related to HVAC systems.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to resolve design-related issues.

Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to BIM and mechanical design.

Necessary Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

3+ years of experience in BIM with proven experience on UK, US, and Middle East projects.

Proficiency in design software, including Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Revit Fabrication, BIM 360, Navisworks, and other relevant applications.

Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as building codes and energy efficiency principles.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
