Leading, managing and motivating a team of self-employed Sales Consultants, with responsibilities including recruitment and development to meet targets, while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of self-employed Sales Consultants; drive recruitment of self-employed Sales Representatives, Door to Door Canvassers and Canvass Team Leaders to meet targets.
  • Provide training, coaching and development of the self-employed sales team to Company standards and policies.
  • Encourage the Sales Team to generate own leads through approved methods while managing leads from internal sources.
  • Ensure the Sales Team present the approved Finance presentation in accordance with FCA regulations, and our internal policies to every potential customer.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to deliver the business plan, achieve sales targets in line with product specifications, pricing structures and profit margins, and maximise lead conversion.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports.

Qualifications

  • Successful proven experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Manager who has consistently exceeded targets in sales and marketing.
  • Ideally experienced within Home Improvements (or similar).
  • Ideally, experience of recruiting self-employed Sales Professionals.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to motivate and guide people to achieve targets.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in a targeted sales environment.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Experience of remote meetings/sales appointments, although not essential.
  • Proactive, results driven and flexible towards varied workloads and working hours.
  • Able to provide a consistently high level of customer service.
  • Commitment to continuous personal development through internal resources and own initiatives.
  • Driver with a full UK driving licence and own car.
