You'll be based in London as a member of a dynamic and collaborative Global People Services team, working closely with colleagues across the wider HR organisation in the US, Singapore, Zurich and other global locations. You'll gain exposure to the full spectrum of Human Resources, partnering with Centres of Excellence including Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, Global Mobility, Payroll, Employee Relations and HR Compliance.

Position Summary: The Tier 1 People Services Specialist serves as the first point of contact for candidates, employees, and our internal HR teams, providing high-quality support across key moments in the employment lifecycle. This includes hiring, onboarding, employee data management, compliance and offboarding processes. The role is essential to delivering a seamless and efficient employee experience, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and timely communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process employee lifecycle transactions, including new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Initiate and follow up on background checks, ensuring compliance with internal and legal standards.
- Facilitate onboarding processes, including paperwork and systems access.
- Draft and send employment-related letters (e.g., offers, transfers, probations, salary increases, terminations).
- Support offboarding, including equipment retrieval and final documentation.
- Send out emails to line managers regarding approved and regulated roles, confirming which roles are regulated, which employees and ensuring all new (or transferring employees) have the appropriate information to meet their regulatory obligations and are fully aware of the process to track continued compliance.
- Monitor the collection of data, forms and training records, prompting action where necessary, whilst maintaining accurate registers and workday profiles.
- Manage annual declarations, registers ongoing updates.
- Track probationary periods and ensure timely follow-up with managers.
- Respond to employee and candidate inquiries, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Monitor employee compliance training and certification records.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and support general HR operations as needed.
- Process employee data and job changes in Workday.
