Everest Group is expanding its portfolio of highâimpact executiveâlevel conferences and wants an Event Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and execution for its growing events business. This role sits in the Events organization and will be the singleâthreaded owner of marketing for flagship inâperson conferences such as the Engage and Elevate series, working closely with the central Marketing team to execute across channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Marketing Strategy and Campaign Ownership
- Own endâtoâend marketing strategy for Everest Group's inâperson conference portfolio, from initial launch through postâevent followâup.
- Build and manage the annual and perâevent marketing calendar, aligning timelines across multiple events, locations, and internal teams.
- Define target audience segments and buyer personas for each event and tailor messaging to senior executive audiences.
- Develop integrated campaign plans spanning email, web, social, paid amplification (where applicable), and salesâenabled outreach.
- Messaging, Content, and Asset Development
- Lead development of core event marketing assets, including event websites and registration pages, "why attend" narratives, agenda positioning, speaker promotions, and email journeys.
- Ensure each event has a clear, differentiated value proposition aligned to its audience, themes, and commercial objectives.
- Oversee creation of eventâspecific collateral such as overview decks, sales enablement materials, onâsite guides, and postâevent recap content.
- Act as a brand steward for Events, ensuring consistency with Everest Group brand standards while allowing each conference to have its own distinct identity.
- CrossâFunctional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Everest Group's broader Marketing organization, including content, brand, design, digital, and marketing operations teams, to execute campaigns efficiently and on schedule.
- Work with Sales and clientâfacing teams to enable targeted outreach, invite programs, and accountâbased efforts that drive highâquality executive attendance.
- Collaborate with Event Operations and Program Management on timelines, attendee communications, onâsite branding, signage, and postâevent surveys.
- Align marketing plans with event P&L goals, agenda themes, and sponsorship priorities.
- Measurement and Optimization
- Track and report on key event marketing metrics, including registrations, attendee mix, engagement, and commercial influence.
- Analyze performance data and attendee feedback to inform improvements for future events.
- Continuously refine messaging, channels, and tactics to improve efficiency and impact as the events portfolio scales.
Required Aptitude/Skills
- Experience in B2B event or conference marketing, ideally supporting inâperson, executiveâlevel events.
- Demonstrated success planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive registrations and attendance quality.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously.
- Experience partnering with sales teams on invite strategies, accountâbased outreach, and/or targeted executive engagement.
- Comfort working in a matrixed organization, balancing priorities across Events, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong sense of messaging and positioning.
- Experience using marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools to manage campaigns and report results.
Remote Work and Travel
The candidate must be comfortable with a combination of remote work and travel, with the flexibility to work from home when not traveling and travel as needed to client sites, conferences, training sessions or company events, both domestically and internationally. Maintaining productivity and communication while on the road, including during international trips, is essential.
