Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive growth across the North West England and Scotland regions. This is a field-based, fully remote role suited to a dynamic sales professional with a passion for renewable energy and smart technology. The position combines technical product expertise with commercial drive, focusing on EV charging, solar energy, and battery storage solutions.
The Role
You’ll manage and expand relationships with installers, distributors, and wholesalers, promoting a portfolio of innovative home energy products. This is a hands-on sales position with a strong technical element — you’ll provide product training, support, and advice while identifying and securing new business opportunities across your region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow the customer base across the Midlands and London.
- Promote EV charging, solar, and battery storage solutions to B2B clients.
- Provide technical product training and pre/post-sales support.
- Attend trade events, exhibitions, and client meetings to build market presence.
- Maintain CRM records, track sales performance, and deliver on agreed KPIs.
About You
- Proven track record in technical or renewable energy sales (EV, solar, or related).
- Confident engaging with installers, distributors, and wholesalers.
- Strong technical understanding and ability to communicate complex solutions clearly.
- Excellent relationship builder with a proactive and target-driven mindset.
- Based in the Midlands or London, with flexibility for travel across the region.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
