We are recruiting for a Field Service Operations Manager (Electrical) to join a growing, specialist EV charging business at an early stage. This is a senior operational role for someone with strong hands-on electrical experience and solid EV charging maintenance background. You’ll lead day-to-day delivery, manage subcontractors and field teams, and help build the operational processes that allow the business to scale.

The role:

  • Lead EV charging maintenance operations and site assessments
  • Plan and coordinate subcontractors and field engineers
  • Act as technical escalation for complex faults and recurring issues
  • Support install and remedial works where required
  • Build scalable processes, standards, reporting and KPIs
  • Ensure full compliance with BS7671 (18th Edition) and strong H&S standards
  • Work closely with leadership to improve delivery and customer outcomes

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience:
  • Strong electrical background with significant time on the tools
  • EV charging maintenance experience (essential)
  • EV charging installation, fault-finding and remedials experience
  • Comfortable leading teams and managing subcontractors
  • Happy working remotely with site involvement when required

Qualifications:

  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • Inspection & Testing – C&G 2391 or equivalent
  • SMSTS + site management qualification
  • CSCS Gold Card
