Senior Project Manager – Construction – HV – EV Charging Infrastructure – Remote – £55,000 – £65,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Bonus London HQ My EV Charging client is looking for a Construction Project Manager with expertise in High Voltage (HV) to join their project delivery team within the rapidly growing EV charging sector. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of EV charging site construction, ensuring each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards. You will manage multiple sites simultaneously, taking them from pre-construction planning through to live operation and handover to the operational team. While this is a home-based role, travel across the UK will be required for site inspections, contractor management, and team meetings. Location : Remote Salary & Benefits : £55,000-£65,000 (Base, Bonus, Car Allowance) Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage the full construction process for EV charging sites, with a specific focus on HV infrastructure. Ensure strict adherence to CDM 2015 regulations and all relevant health, safety, and environmental guidelines Oversee HV electrical systems and civil engineering requirements, coordinating with contractors to ensure correct and timely installation Develop and manage detailed work programs for each project, tracking progress, costs, and resource allocation Conduct thorough site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards Act as the main point of contact for contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to resolve on-site challenges Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained, from project initiation through to O&M handover Manage hardware deliveries to ensure availability aligns with project timelines Provide accurate cost control and budgeting throughout the construction phase Report on contractor performance, sharing insights and lessons learned for continuous improvement Skills and Experience : Experience in construction or project management, with significant experience in HV systems. Proven track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within the energy, utilities, or EV charging sectors Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations, with experience reviewing and implementing RAMS and CPPs SMSTS certified (or equivalent) Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred) Experience managing contractors and large-scale construction projects Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Highly motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making Full UK driving license and right to work in the UK If this role is of interest, please apply directly or share your CV to abbey.graham@everec.co.uk
