The Role

The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for producing and controlling engineering documentation that underpins specialist vehicle builds. You will work closely with customers, production and operations teams to ensure technical requirements are clearly defined, documented and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Maintain drawing registers, version control and templates
  • Prepare engineering schedules, specifications and assembly documentation
  • Support regulatory approvals (IVA and related standards)
  • Liaise with customers on technical and specification queries
  • Convert customer requirements into internal engineering documentation
  • Support production teams during build phases
  • Prepare post-delivery technical manuals

About You

  • Strong background in design engineering
  • Experience producing controlled engineering drawings and documentation
  • Automotive or vehicle engineering experience preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory approval processes advantageous
  • Detail-oriented, organised and technically strong
  • Comfortable working fully on-site
