Sales Development Representative (Outbound) – EV Charging – Hybrid – £35k + Bonus/Benefits
Compensation: £35k base salary, plus a 20% discretionary company bonus.
Location: 3 days on-site in London Victoria.
Benefits Package: Includes pension, private medical insurance, death in service, and a company bonus.
My client is seeking an experienced Sales Associate/Executive to join their data-driven business. Your main focus will be generating new business opportunities through cold calling and relationship building, identifying and engaging with potential customers to schedule meetings for our sales team.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably with a background in selling to key accounts within the leisure, hospitality, hotel, or golf sectors. While specific experience in EV charging is not required, familiarity with these industries will be highly beneficial.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct targeted cold-calling campaigns to generate leads and build relationships with potential clients in the leisure, hospitality, hotel, and golf sectors.
- Identify and engage with decision-makers to present our client’s EV charging solutions.
- Qualify leads based on their potential to become customers, ensuring that your efforts are focused on the most promising opportunities.
- Schedule meetings between prospective clients and our Business Development team.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions on our CRM platform.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and the evolving needs of our target industries.
Knowledge & Skills
- A diligent Sales Executive with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with EV charging solutions is a plus but not essential.
- Comfortable with the full suite of Microsoft Office programs and able to pick up new software systems as necessary.
- Previous experience in sales, customer engagement, or customer relationship management.
