Role: Business Development Manager, Commercial Heating and Heat Pumps
Location: Field based, South West England, with travel and hybrid working
Salary and Package: DOE + Car + Bonus + Benefits
The Role
This is a field based Area Sales Manager role covering both new business development and account management, working to secure specification and drive sales across the full product range.
You’ll manage the full sales cycle, from building relationships with consultants and contractors through to specification, quotation and close, positioning the technology effectively across commercial and public sector projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with M&E consultants and contractors across your territory
- Drive specification and sales across commercial boilers, water heaters and air source heat pump ranges
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to specification, tender and close
- Represent the business at trade events and industry forums to build pipeline and brand presence
- Work closely with internal technical teams to support proposals and project delivery
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship management
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience across commercial heating, hot water or heat pump products
- Background from a heating or HVAC manufacturer, distributor, or specification led sales environment
- Comfortable engaging with M&E consultants, contractors and engineers as well as commercial decision makers
- Self-motivated with a track record of building and converting your own pipeline
- Full UK driving licence
